Become a Love and Logic Parent

Improve your confidence as a parent and enrich your family life in 2010. In this five-week series, we will learn how to instill traits to raise responsible, respectful and resourceful children. Designed for parents with children ages 2-8, we will learn techniques to:
Teach children to listen the first time
End bedtime, mealtime and morning routine battles
Avoid power struggles and neutralize arguing and whining
Set limits and provide consequences in loving ways

High Tea & Etiquette

In this 1 1/2 hour extravaganza, we will partake of a delicious high tea with tea sandwiches, scones and Harney & Sons fruit blended tea. Through fun role plays and games, we will also learn the basics of good etiquette from greetings/introductions, good table manners and how to be a good host. We will even learn how to greet the queen as you never know when you'll be invited to Buckingham Palace. Please let us know of any food allergies. Ages 4-7 or 7-12. Classes held monthly. Class limited to 12. $35. 10% Sibling Discount.

Please Pass the Table Manners

Over a delicious 3-course lunch at Avon Old Farms Inn, children ages 6-12 will learn good table manners including place settings, proper use of napkin, cutlery, plates and glasses. Mastering these dining and conversational skills will make your child feel confident and poised in different social settings. We will also have a lot of fun, learning about the history of manners and what some other countries consider good and bad manners! Meet at First & Last Tavern. $45.

Infant & Child CPR

New and expectant parents, grandparents and babysitters will learn how to perform Infant & Child CPR, relieve a foreign airway obstruction, and sue a barrier device during rescue breathing. Led by a certified American Heart Association instructor, you will also learn the pediatric chain of survival. $35 per person.
